Core-Rect

About This Piece

"Core-Rect" is a generative art project, with each mint producing a unique and one-of-a-kind output. Inspired two years ago by artist Philins's sketch-like generative forms using simple shapes, I developed algorithms for moving visual elements, aiming for substantial variations between pieces.

After two years of refining rotation and movement algorithms, "Core-Rect" is complete. The core algorithms generate element rotation and movement around a central core forming a foundational structure. Rectangles oscillate and move around this core, gradually adjusting and shrinking to fit the canvas space. This interplay between core-based rotation and corrective patterns gives the project its name.
